Welcome Home to Jubilee Los Lunas’
First Homebuyers

Just five days before celebrating their 29th wedding anniversary, Marilyn and Robert Kent purchased a new home at Jubilee Los Lunas, New Mexico’s premier Active Adult Community. Sales opened on Monday, November 27th. With the first phase of lots available, the Kents will be the community’s first buyers, giving Robert the opportunity to “make a difference in the community through the Home Owner’s Association and promote the active adult lifestyle.”

Robert and Marilyn do know a thing or two about promoting business and growth as owners of the House of Kent, an interior design and furniture store where Marilyn was the head designer. The couple moved to New Mexico in 1980 from Illinois, and shortly thereafter opened their own business. Those same elements of the New Mexico climate and culture that drew the Kents to Albuquerque are exactly why the Kents are choosing to stay and retire in New Mexico. Robert says “Jubilee Los Lunas’ location is so desirable because it is out of the city and offers such beautiful views and a safe neighborhood.”

After looking at similar communities throughout Arizona, Nevada and New Mexico, the Kents had developed a list of likes and dislikes, which Jubilee suited perfectly. Confident that Robert and Marilyn have chosen the right fit is Mark Kaplan, President of Jenamar Communities, “Fun, friends, fitness, and freedom is what Jubilee is all about and the Kents will definitely love the lifestyle at Jubilee which they have earned and deserve.”

Jubilee Los Lunas is a private gated community which is being built by Jenamar Communities from Granite Bay, CA. Set on 379 acres, the Tuscan style homes will feature 9 floor plans ranging from 1143 square feet to 2872 square feet. The Kents, have chosen a home which suits the two of them perfectly, 1715 square feet with two bedrooms and two bathrooms, “This floor plan is most desirable for the two of us because of the second bedroom and the flexibility to turn the den into another bedroom for guests. It is very open and we can’t wait to move in.”

In addition to spectacular open floor plans and breathtaking panoramic views, the community also features a 21,000 square foot clubhouse, Villa Jubilee. This building is the hub of social events for the neighborhood and is highly anticipated by the Kents. The Socialization of an active adult community is most appealing to those over 55. The Kent’s can’t wait to “find golfing buddies and aerobics partners and to develop a large group of friends without having to leave the community.” There will also be an expansive walking/ hiking trail system that winds through El Cerro Mountain, which serves as the community’s natural backdrop.

Pre-Grand Opening home pricing at Jubilee Los Lunas will start at around $189,900. “There will never be a more affordable time to purchase a home at Jubilee Los Lunas,” says Karen Clary-Aragon, Sales Manager for Jubilee Los Lunas. Homeowners at Jubilee at Hawks Prairie in Lacey, Washington, have experienced an average of a 35% increase in home values.

Jubilee Los Lunas is located off of New Mexico Highway 6, west of Interstate 25. To find more information about the community and its builder visit www.jubileeloslunas.com or contact Jenamar New Mexico by phone at (505) 866-1777.
